tlkgoodwin In the miles and miles of cars (parked when it was dark) we had a hard time finding the vehicle!

tlkgoodwin About 4 hours after the start, more marathoners began to near the finish line

tlkgoodwin Kody ran the 10K so ran the first mile or so with Ted.

tlkgoodwin It was such a surprise to see Shayne

tlkgoodwin and Andrea and the kids there.

tlkgoodwin Seeing them at Mile 25 was

tlkgoodwin a huge encouragement to Ted...

tlkgoodwin who was feeling a little worse for wear!

tlkgoodwin So we hung outside the medical tent for a bit...

tlkgoodwin It was so nice of Israel to join us for the day. We couldn't ask for a better brother.

tlkgoodwin We went to the finish line at about 1 hour 10 minutes

tlkgoodwin so we could see Kody complete his race...

tlkgoodwin The USAF Marathon course is certified by the USA Track and Field Association

tlkgoodwin 1st 10K finisher.

tlkgoodwin Congratulations to Ted and Kody both for their hard work, diligence, and pushing through! I'm so proud of you both!

tlkgoodwin The US Airforce Marathon is a 26.2-mile course that traverses the Wright-Patterson Airforce Base.

tlkgoodwin wheelchair, half marathon, 10K, and 5K races. The race has grown over the years to nearly 12,000 participants.
