smilin7 dessert time! (and my brother Scott arrived in time for a few nibbles of leftover dinner and full nibbles of dessert!)

smilin7 I hope more guests will join us next year, especially our daughter and more family members!

smilin7 Unfortunately, Mom and Dad were not feeling up to coming, so Scott stayed with them and then joined us later. Aging is challenging, it was sad not to have them here with us.

smilin7 Welcome to our Thanksgiving 2011

smilin7 One of the many things I was thankful for was the gift of the hand-made apron I'm wearing (our guests arrived with this gift)

smilin7 a few minutes before "time to eat"

smilin7 fresh grapes, sunlit & "star"lit were our appetizer

smilin7 "star"lit :)

smilin7 lots of condiments (pickles, olives, roasted red peppers, cranberry and applesauce)

smilin7 desserts: cranberry-almond-apple tarts, pumpkin-chocolate chip cake, and space saved for the pumpkin pie!

smilin7 1 p.m., most of the work done (whew!) and I changed to be ready for guests arrival

smilin7 getting excited!
