Hi Lauren - I really enjoyed your show. This is a great attempt after just 15 minutes or so. I really thought you had some great content. To improve you can add some quiz questions at the end! Awesome!
LaurenS
the kidney excretes waste and maintains fluid.
LaurenS
it creates either concentrated or dilute urine.
LaurenS
small molecules are 'sieved' out of the kidney, these molecules are: water, sugar, urea and ions of salt.
LaurenS
molecules like protein are too big so they stay in the blood.
LaurenS
some of the small molecules are useful to your body, you do not want to lose to them, so the kidney reabsorbs them.
LaurenS
these useful chemicals go back into the blood: all of the sugar (for respiration), as much salt as the body needs, and as much water as the body needs.
LaurenS
the rest of the filtered chemicals go to the bladder into your wee.
