lisadbpl There were a lot of awesome freehand designs.

lisadbpl Special thanks to John Miller for bringing in his collection of boards and enthusiasm for the art and the sport and sharing it with teens.

lisadbpl This was the second workshop in a two-part series that the library offered based on the book, Disposable: A History of Skateboard Art by Sean Cliver.

lisadbpl Blank boards and paint supplies were purchased by the Friends of the Burlington Library. Teens were then invited to design and paint a skateboard deck.

lisadbpl Time to vote.

lisadbpl Everyone got to vote for their favorite design.

lisadbpl After the voting was completed, the winners were announced.

lisadbpl First place prize was a board from Hidden Wave Board Shop.

lisadbpl Second place got a Hidden Wave t-shirt.

lisadbpl Third place got a nice set of wheels.

lisadbpl AJ, Tim, John, Isaac, & Nathan with their newly designed boards.
