gerald and mavis Lovely pictures, we also had a lovely frosty day in Northumberland and went for a walk in the sunshine and fresh air.

Jim It's Sunday, it's sunny, with a hard frost - the first real frosty weekend of the winter - despite it being Januuary...

Jim ..time to wrap up and step out, and "Seize the day".

Jim Though it's mid afternoon, frost still lingers in the shadows cast by trees in Porters Wood.

Jim A bright sunlit arch of trees over the path in Porters Wood beckons me on.

Jim Nearer home, the fields are hard with frost, and dotted with frozen pools of rainwater.

Jim Pennington House stands out under a cloudless sky.

Jim One last look back along the lane, before heading home nearby, and a warming cup of tea, and maybe a "wee" dram too. Hope you enjoyed my "wee" walk.
