Very clean air and peaceful. I found the staff and the people who live there very friendly. No place like Eliott Lake for sure.

Fern Dumas Love your video - I came to Elliot Lake in 1955 and helped to build the road to my cottage on Mount Lake .Thank you for sharing our Jewel in The wilderness
Eleanor (Love) Williams Wonderful pictures bring back positive memories of the place my ex-husband, son, daughter and 2 dogs lived (Washington Crescent then Esten Drive) October 1981 to June 1886. Now, in retirement at 70, living last 10 years in B.C. and now planning to return to Ontario I am tempted to consider paradise 30 years after we left. The tragedy of the Algo Centre collapse chilled me to the bone having myself sold raffle tickets for St. Joes Hospital there. A new shopping area will be warmly welcomed.
Jennifer Buxton LOOKS AMAZING, FEELS LIKE A WONDERFUL PLACE TO RETIRE TOO

Eva Tomalin Elliot Lake...."Heaven on Earth", and the photography is spectacular also!
William Land (Part 2) This video captures very well the spirit and scenery of living in Elliot Lake. It is easy to see why the community is known as "The Jewel in the Wilderness." The attractive fall folliage is a beautiful backdrop for Elliot Lake and its environs. I so enjoyed seeing this and shall share it with people in my community. Thank you, Alan and Mark, for this wonderful tribute to Elliot Lake.
William Land My family lived on Central Avenue for almost 40 years. As children during the 1970s, we could not have asked for a better place to live. It was a child's paradise. The great outdoors and all its offering were outside the front door of our home: a ball park, an arena, a sports field, a woods. In another direction, a school yard playground and mere steps to a public beach. It was a very short walk, using shortcuts, from our home to the downtown core and the Elliot Lake Public Library on Mary Walk.
Gene Grogan It was my idea to retire here 16 years ago and my dear wife was sceptical. Now she is the biggest advocate ever. This is our home, we love it.
