ianmclean Thanks for watching!
ianmclean His cousin lived in the country on a farm.
1/2Sa @ Penrith PS This is an awesome slideshow. It was funny. The cat was scary and spectacular. We don't think the mice liked that bit! The Country Mouse didn't have a very good journey. Goodbye!
KF @ Penrith PS We loved the slideshow, too! We liked seeing the picture of the city street background because we made that one!
2R at Lake Munmorah P.S. Year 2 boys & girls at Lake Munmorah Public School really liked your "cool" movie, they enjoyed the characters & especially the cat.
bookchook Great story, kids and Mr McLean. I loved that scary cat!
Sue Fordham Very creative!
Barbara Braxton You have done really well! I wonder how many of you would prefer the country or the city!
Miss Bini Inspiring!
Margy Heuschele What a tremendous project. Congratulations to all the students in Kindergarten and Stage 1. Well Done!
ianmclean And the moral is: "Some people prefer to stay at home."
ianmclean One day, City Mouse came to the farm to visit.
ianmclean Country Mouse said, "Welcome Cousin!"
ianmclean "You look very hungry."
ianmclean "I think you'll really like this fresh cheese and fruit!"
ianmclean City Mouse said, "I'd rather have a big cheeseburger. You should visit me in the city one day."
ianmclean Country Mouse decided to drive to the city.
ianmclean BRRRM! BRRRM! BRRRM!
ianmclean That night, he finally arrived at the city. His cousin was waiting for him.
ianmclean "Welcome to the city!" said City Mouse.
ianmclean "Tomorrow, we are going to my favourite restaurant!" he said.
ianmclean First they went to City Mouse's home for a sleep.
ianmclean The next day the mice went into the busy city.
ianmclean "Wait till you see what we will be eating!"
ianmclean "Yum! Junk food - and a banana to make it healthy."
ianmclean "I think I would rather eat plain food," said Country Mouse.
ianmclean "Did you hear a noise?"
ianmclean "Run away! Run away!"
ianmclean "I think it's time for you to go home."
ianmclean "I'm sorry you found this trip to be so scary."
ianmclean "Yes, I much prefer quiet country living."
ianmclean "Bye bye, Cousin!"
ianmclean "Have a safe trip home to the farm."
ianmclean CITY MOUSE & COUNTRY MOUSE: an Aesop's fable.
ianmclean Once upon a time, there was a mouse who lived in the city.
