Jim Spring foliage in aptly named Spring Road, Kitt Green, near Wigan, Lancashire, NW England.

Jim This is my short 30 minute walk I use if the weather and time is against me.

Jim .. if it isn't, I turn off the road here at this footpath sign and walk to throgh Porters Wood to Gathurst and its canal.

Jim Today I will turn left into Latham Lane where the white car is

Jim Latham Lane, named after a woman who opened her house as a pub like other did years ago - hence some times pubs are referred to as "public houses".

Jim After 30 minutes I'm near home, but I usually like to walk for an hours or more if I can.
