Char Love it Baby Girl :)
Aunt Terry Very Good job. I really injoyed it. Brought tears to my eyes, Will watch it again.
CelenaR We'd stay in the city, but sometimes we'd venture over to the Upper Peninsula. I've never liked going over the bridge though. My fear of heights definitely takes the fun away.
CelenaR My Grandparents in front of their Cabin. They were the ones who started the tradition of going to Mackinaw every summer, and they were the only ones we'd ever go with.
CelenaR Mackinac Point Lighthouse! One of my Grandmother's favorite places to go to while we were there.
CelenaR Her in front of the lighthouse, wearing her favorite lighthouse sweater.
CelenaR Our favorite restaurant there. The People who work there year around were great friends with my Grandparents. When we were there with them we were always greeted with genuine care.
CelenaR Every year, we would always eat at Pizza Palace. Right after checking into our cabins, it'd be the first place we'd head off to.
CelenaR There were so many shops to look at, but one are two where usually top priority. Windjammer was one of them.
CelenaR When we'd go to the U.P., GarLyn was mainly our destination. Its not like most 'zoos', but its just as good, if not better.
CelenaR The Waterfront is where we've stayed the last two years. Its nothing like the inn and cabins we were at before, but we still had a good time.
CelenaR This is the cabin we've stayed in the last two years. On the porch is our family friend, Jenny.
CelenaR The fountain by the bridge. In this picture, we caught it right as the water shut off.
CelenaR When we first saw this house, it was still being built. My Grandmother called it "Her House", and was excited to see it finished. Sadly she passed away before it was done.
CelenaR We visited a few new places last years, Mill Creek being one of them.
CelenaR My mom, my younger sister, and her friend got to go down the zip line there.
CelenaR We stayed at a different inn, but it was still right in front of the area of beach my Grandfather walked out to every morning.
CelenaR So my Mother thought it was a perfect place to spread his ashes.
CelenaR The water was cold, and the weather was windy, but it was still a meaningful moment for us all.
CelenaR Even though both my Grandparents are gone, Mackinaw is still a beautiful place a love to go to. I hope I can continue to spend my summers there for many more years to come.
CelenaR Mackinaw city has always been a vacation spot for my family. We've been going there almost every year since I was a child.
